Change offline folder location (Outlook 2003)
Q. I would like to store my Offline Folders file (.ost or Cached Exchange file) on a different drive. How would I do that?
A. Follow these steps:
1. Make sure you close Outlook (reboot to be safe)2. Go to Control Panel, open Mail and then click E-mail Accounts. 3. Click View or change existing e-mail accounts, and then click Next.
4. Select the Microsoft Exchange Server account, and then click Change.
5. Uncheck the Use Cached Exchange Mode check box.
6. Click on More Settings and then on the Advanced tab.
7. Click Offline Folder File Settings.
8. Click Disable Offline Use and then Yes in the dialog box that pops up.
9. Click Offline Folder File Settings.
10. Click Browse and go to the new location of your .ost file. Click Open.
11. Click OK.
12. Check the Use Cached Exchange Mode check box. Then click Next and Finish.

Helped me out with this. I have a relatively old netbook with little space on the main drive. Moving the Outlook file to SD card saved space.
