So laggy!
The main thing I've noticed since "upgrading" to Ocelot is the speed. Everything's slowed down considerably and its absolutely obnoxious. Simple things like the calendar and the terminal are just plain slow, but they never used to be. I'm using Gnome Classic right now, but whenever I click back a month in the calendar I have to wait a half a second or so for it to render. In Natty I used to be able to go back 5 or 6 months in a split second. Switching tabs in the terminal sometimes takes a whole second, whereas it used to be instantaneous. Switching workspaces sometimes drags on also. Is there a fix for any of this? Maybe there's something really memory or processor intensive running in the background that wasn't there with Natty?
