Increase (decrease) new email notification (Outlook)

How can I change my microsoft outlook notification pop-up to display longer (or shorter)?
Answer
To increase or decrease the display time for the notification pop-up, do the following:

1. From the top menu, select Tools, Options.
2. On the Preferences tab, select E-mail Options.
3. Then select Advanced E-mail Options.
4. Click on "Desktop Alert Settings"
5. Increase (or decrease) the "Duration" bar. (You can also change the transparency of the alert).
6. Click OK four times.
